Camarines Norte (August 5, 2015) — The Joint Peace and Security Coordinating Council (JPSCC) meeting was conducted yesterday (August 4, 2015) at Bayanihan Hall of 49th IB headquarters in Brgy Mahawan hawan, Labo, Camarines Norte at 2:00 in the afternoon.
It was attended by Col. Amador Tabuga Jr., Brigade Commander of 902nd Brigade; CNPPO Quadstaff; PSSupt Harris Fama, OIC CNPPO; Lt Col Medel M. Aguilar, Battallion Commander of 49th IB together with his triad staff; and Mr Ricky Pera, President of CN AFP-PNP Press Corps with Ms. Eliza Llovit, Secretary of CN AFP-PNP Press Corps.
Topics discussed were the tasking of CNPPO & 49th IB joint security coverage on infrastructure projects (on-going and succeeding) in the province, joint operational plan between CNPPO & 49th IB in case of harrashment, Community Organizing Projects, and the role of media in reporting insurgency incidents.
The regular meeting is part of Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)/Philippine National Police (PNP) efforts in securing peace and order in the province.
