Matagumpay na naidaos ng Pamahalaang Lokal ng Bayan ng Daet (LGU-Daet) ang Blood-Letting Program nito sa pamamagitan ng Municipal Blood Council (MBC) at Municipal Health Office (MHO) sa pakikipagtulungan ng Bicol Medical Center (BMC) na idinaos nitong Miyerkules, July 14, 2021, sa LGU-Daet Municipal Covered Court.
Kabuuan na 182 blood bags ang nalikom sa naturang aktibidad na ayon sa grupo ay magiging malaking tulong sa bayan ng Daet na araw-araw ay mayroong malaking pangangailangan sa dugo.
1,200 blood bags para sa taong ito ang target na malikom ng LGU-Daet upang magkaroon ng sapat na supply ng dugo ang bayan ng Daet.
“Dugong-Alay, Dugtong-Buhay” ang tema ng programa na nataon din sa pagdiriwang ng National Blood Donor’s Month batay sa Proclamation No. 1021 na nilagdaan ni dating Pangulong Fidel V. Ramos noong ika-09 ng Hunyo, 1997.
Nagpasalamat naman si Mayor Benito S. Ochoa sa lahat ng mga nag-donate ng dugo kabilang ang mga uniformed personnel mula sa Camarines Norte Provincial Police Office (CNPPO), Daet Municipal Police Station (DMPS), 902nd Brigade mula sa Philippine Army, mga kawani ng LGU-Daet, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Barangay Health Workers, opisyal ng Barangay at iba pa.
Kabilang din sa naging katuwang ng LGU-Daet ang TGP (The Generics Pharmacy), DZRH, at DOJ sa pamamagitan ng Parole and Probation Administration nito.
Samantala, sa Nobyembre 2021 naman isasagawa ang susunod na blood letting activity bilang tugon sa Quarterly na pagsasagawa nito.
Pakay ng proyekto na makatulong sa pagsalba ng buhay partikular ng mga nangangailangan na masalinan ng dugo.

A total of 182 blood bags were collected in such activity which according to the group will be a big help to the town of Daet which has a huge need for blood every day.
1,200 blood bags for this year is the target to be collected by LGU-Daet so that the town of Daet will have an adequate blood supply.
“Dugong-Alay, Dugtong-Buhay” is the theme of the program which also coincided with the celebration of National Blood Donor’s Month based on Proclamation No. 1021 signed by former President Fidel V. Ramos on June 09, 1997.
Mayor Benito S. Ochoa thanked all those who donated blood including uniformed personnel from the Camarines Norte Provincial Police Office (CNPPO), Daet Municipal Police Station (DMPS), 902nd Brigade from the Philippine Army, staff of LGU-Daet, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Barangay Health Workers, Barangay officials and others.
LGU-Daet’s partners also include TGP (The Generics Pharmacy), DZRH, and DOJ through its Parole and Probation Administration.
Meanwhile, in November 2021, the next blood letting activity will be held in response to the Quarterly.
The purpose of the project is to help save the lives of those in need of blood transfusions.
