COVID-19 EXPANSION WARD CONSTRUCTED TO ACCOMMODATE MORE PATIENTS IN CNPH

To accommodate more patients who tested positive in Rapid Antigen test, Camarines Norte Provincial Hospital (CNPH) added an expansion of COVID-19 patients ward after the recent situation wherein the hospital cannot accommodate COVID patients anymore due to sudden rise up of positive cases recently.

According to Acting Provincial Health Officer Dr. Arnel Francisco, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) funded the said expansion project.

Each room has its own bed, electric fan, exhaust fan and own comfort room. Oxygen will also be provided for each room.

People who tested positive in Rapid Antigen test who needs to be confined are the ones who will be accommodated in the expansion ward.

Dr. Francisco added that the newly constructed ward still needs more workers to run the facility.
