Assistant Secretatry of Health, Dr. Nestor F. Santiago Jr., MPHG, MHSA, CESO II of Department of Health visited LGU Daet’s vaccination site in the first day Bayanihan, Bakunahan National Vaccination Day Part 2.
The National Vaccination Day starts today, December 20, 2021 until December 22, 2021.
LGU Daet has three (3) vaccination sites: SM City Daet, Central Plaza Mall and Cobangbang Elementary School.
In Bayanihan Bakunaha Part 1 held last November 29-December 1, 2021, LGU Daet were able to vaccinate 10,494 or 131.01% surpassing the target number 8,010.
Dr. Santiago and LGU Daet continuously encourages those who are not yet vaccinated to join the government’s program to have their protection against the virus.
Bayanihan, Bakunahan National COVID-19 Vaccination Days primarily aims to vaccinate 15 million Filipinos across 16 regions outside Metro Manila.
In his proclamation, the President has ordered all government agencies and instrumentalities to extend all possible support to the “Bayanihan, Bakunahan” program.
Duterte on Thursday signed Proclamation 1253 for the conduct of the three-day national vaccination drive, which will be headed by the Departments of Health and the Interior and Local Government.
