Based on the new COVID-19 update of Department of Health (DOH) CHD-Bicol, one (1) new confirmed COVID-19 case was recorded in municipality of Daet last January 4, 2022.
The new confirmed COVID-19 patient is a 26-year-old student from Barangay Magang who was admitted to Leon D. Hernandez Memorial Hospital since January 1, 2022 due to cough, sore throat and dyspnea.
As of now, Municipality of Daet has only one active COVID-19 case. Contract Tracing Team is currently active on doing contract tracing to prevent the widespread of the virus.
The Local Government Unit (LGU) Daet through the leadership of Mayor Benito “B2K” Ochoa continuously reminds everyone to strictly follow safety and health protocols for the prevention of the disease.
LGU Daet also encourages everyone to get their COVID-19 vaccine and booster shots for individual protection.
