After several unverified information and fake news circulating on social media the past days in the province regarding new COVID-19 guidelines, the Provincial Government of Camarines Norte (PGCN) headed by Governor Edgardo A. Tallado thru the Provincial Incident Management Team (IMT) finally released the newest Executive Order (EO), effective January 16, 2022.
Based on EO No. 3, s. 2022 signed by the Provincial Governor, unvaccinated individuals shall not be allowed outside of residences except in access to medical and health services only.
In line with this, vaccinated individuals shall always bring their vaccination card since it is also stated in the said EO that establishments including government and private institutions must require all their clients/customers to present vaccination card (2 dose completed) in entering their office/establishments. Filling out of declaration form for contact tracing purposes is also required.
Meanwhile, children ages eleven (11) years old below are strictly not allowed outside of residence except for medical and health purposes only.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel is hereby ordered to strictly implement the said EO and all other activities that strongly promote the minimum public health standard and to apprehend non-vaccinated individuals and accompany them to the nearest Rural Health Office for the corresponding COVID-19 vaccination.
Limited face-to-face classes for higher education and technical-vocational education training are suspended until further notice.
New curfew hours will be from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM.
The said orders are due to the sudden rise up of the COVID-19 cases in the province that led to Alert Level 2.
The provincial government is encouraging the public to strictly follow all the existing health and safety protocols to prevent from being infected by the virus. Everyone is also highly advised to get their COVID-19 vaccine for individual protection against the virus.
