Wait for official announcement from authorities and refrain from sharing unverified information – said Provincial IATF Commander Atty. Don Culvera on Thursday as a misleading Facebook post about new protocols in the province has gone viral yesterday.
The Facebook post contains information such as new curfew hours, no vaccine card no entry on establishments, mandatory vaccination among employees and mandatory wearing of face shields.
Culvera stated in an interview today that although the Provincial Government headed by Gov. Egay Tallado and the IATF are working out on the possible amendments in the existing protocols, the public is yet to wait for official announcements by the authorities and should refrain from spreading unverified information as it causes alarm and panic especially today that information is accessible in just a click.
According to Culvera, they are still in the process of finalizing the new protocols that are to be implemented with regards to the rising number of Covid positive individuals in the province.
He advised the public to wait until the Governor signs and issues an executive order which will be done anytime today or tomorrow.
