With more than 300,000 vaccinated individuals or around 75% of the target population, Camarines Norte Provincial Health Officer Dr. Arnel Francisco is confident that the province is nearly reaching its herd immunity against COVID-19.
Dr. Francisco stated that Provincial Health Office has enough COVID-19 vaccines in the middle of an influx of people who desires to get vaxxed in various vaccination center in the province particularly in the municipality of Daet.
There are enough covid vaccines in PHO’s cold room and these are equally distributed depending upon the need of each municipality according to the Provincial Health Officer.

These past days, various vaccination centers in the province are undeniably countless people who want to get their COVID-19 jab. Most of these CamNorteños are already lined up in the vaccinations site even before daylight.
In the latest Executive Order of Governor Edgardo Tallado effective last January 16, 2022, unvaccinated individuals shall not be allowed outside of residences except in access to medical and health services only.
No vax, no ride is also being implemented in public transportation.
