A newborn baby was found dead in a creek at Purok 2, Brgy. Poblacion, Sta. Elena, Camarines Norte around 2 o’clock in the afternoon today, January 26, 2022.
The poor baby was discovered to be a girl and was accidentally found by a 10-year-old child in the said barangay.
The authorities will see to it to find who is the possible parent of the child in coordination with the Municipal Health Office of Sta. Elena and Barangay Officials of the said barangay investigate the recent records of pregnant women in the area.
Meanwhile, the Sta Elena Municipal Police Station asks for public cooperation in giving any information with regards to this incident.
