In the recent data gathered by the Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Camarines Norte, about two hundred and seventy-five (275) students from Grade 10 in different secondary schools in the province failed from the first quarter for the school year 2021-2022.
This alarms the Division Office of Camarines Norte and urges the management to pay extra attention and guarantee if the steps and intervention regarding this matter are being implemented to the students.
On the other hand, Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Nympha Guemo is confident that there is still a chance for the teachers to help the students catch up in the remaining 2 quarters.
Meanwhile, Dr. Guemo also added that this matter will only be acceptable if students are no longer participating and complying with the activities and requirements of their teachers.
She also added that this matter requires serious discussion and encourages to have cooperation among teachers and parents for the benefit of the students.
