The number of active COVID-19 cases in Camarines Norte dropped significantly after a high number of patients recovered from the disease.
According to the data released by Department of Health Bicol, the spread of the disease in the province of Camarines Norte has slowed down in recent days with the highest number of patient recoveries recorded on February 8, 2022.
On that day, Camarines Norte recorded 326 recoveries or 87.99% from the total active cases making the number drop to 283 from 607.
Meanwhile, only 5 new cases were recorded from 6th of February to 9th.
There is no recorded case on February 6 while there is one positive case each from Basud and Talisay on February 7, one positive case each from Basud and Daet and one from Paracale on February 9.
However, authorities still remind the public to strictly follow minimum health protocols and encourage unvaccinated individuals to take their shots to ultimately prevent the spread of the virus.
