Hundreds of college students from the municipalities of Labo, Capalonga and Sta. Elena have personally received their reimbursement and cash assistance for the Academic Year 2021-2022 from the Provincial Government Cash Educational Assistance Program or PGCEAP.
The distribution was spearheaded by the Community Affairs Office or (CAO) through a simple ceremony last Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
Gov. Egay Tallado who is present in the said ceremony personally handed the cash allowances to the grantees.
In his message, he emphasized the value of education – the very reason why his administration is doing everything to fund the scholarship program.
In line with his vision that there must be at least one college graduate from each families in the province, he promised to continue allocating funds for the program while encouraging the scholars to do their part by studying hard and maintaining their grades in order to finish college.
