The Provincial Government of Camarines Norte (PGCN) through the Provincial Veterinary Office will be conducting a free spay/castration procedure and anti-rabies vaccination on March 24-25 at Kho Veterinary Clinic located at San Vicente Road, Brgy. Lag-on, Daet, Camarines Norte.
This activity is also in commemoration of Rabies Awareness Month, pet owners who would like to avail of the free anti-rabies vaccination and spay/castration procedure may register at Provincial Veterinary Office located at the 2nd-floor Provincial Capitol Building.
Spay/castration procedure reduced chances of breast cancer, uterine infections, pyometra for females, and testicular cancer for males. No more heat cycles and behavioral changes, resulting in a happier and well-adjusted temperament. No more urges to find a mate, which reduces the tendency to leave the house and be exposed to harm.
Meanwhile, Daet Saving Strays (animal welfare, non-profit organization) will also be there to support the activity and sell some merchandise for the benefit of #shelter4strays project that aims to build a loving shelter for the stray animals in Daet.
