PGHSEAP GRADE VII GRANTEES FROM FOUR MUNICIPALITIES RECEIVED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The Provincial Government of Camarines Norte through the Community Affairs Office (CAO) distributed educational assistance to more than a thousand Grade 7 students in their 4-day activity from March 8-11,2022 held at four municipalities in Camarines Norte.

Around 1,330 beneficiaries from the secondary schools of Jose Panganiban National High School, Larap National High School, and Sta. Cruz National High School received Php 2,000.00 educational assistance each on the first day of distribution, while almost 714 beneficiaries from eight high schools in Capalonga received the same amount of assistance on the second day of distribution. Meanwhile, 1,398 beneficiaries from Paracale and 1,138 beneficiaries from Sta. Elena were given on the 3rd and 4th day of the distribution.

Congresswoman Josie Baning Tallado led the Team Gawa group with Vice Governor-Elect Jonah Pimentel and other Municipality Board Members the distribution of the PGSHEAP.

The Provincial Government High School Education Assistance Program (PGSHEAP) is a program operated by the Community Affairs Office (CAO) and is one of the big projects of the Provincial Government under Governor Egay Tallado that aims to assist students from Grade 7 onwards.

Meanwhile, the four-day distribution reached 3,607 Grade VII grantees from the towns of Jose Panganiban, Capalonga, Paracale, and Sta. Elena, of the total fund of P7,214,000 cash assistance, was distributed.
