A group composed of over 12,000 doctors belonging to 58 organizations expressed their collective support for the candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo on Monday, April 4.
During a press conference, “Doctors for Leni and Kiko” expressed their support for the tandem.
In their statement, the group said only Robredo and Pangilinan have a clear platform to end the pandemic.
The group believes that there is only one Presidentiable that possesses genuine care for Filipinos, and has a clear platform to end the agony brought by the pandemic and uplift the lives of every Filipino.
They also believe that Robredo will provide transparent, decent, accountable, responsive leadership and steer the Philippines to a better direction.
It can be recalled the Robredo’s “Oplan Angat Agad” focuses on providing jobs and livelihoods to Filipinos as well as quality healthcare and education.
