PNP DAET ALL SET TO VOTE COUNTING MACHINES ARRIVAL AND POLICE DEPLOYMENT FOR UPCOMING ELECTIONS

The Philippine National Police (PNP) Daet is already all set to the arrival of Vote Counting Machines or VCM in the Municipality of Daet for the upcoming Local and National Elections 2022.

According to the Deputy Chief of Police of PNP Daet, PLT Flory Jane Consuelo, they are already coordinating with the Commissions on Election for the arrival of VCMs in all precincts in the municipality.

The VCMs are expected to arrive on May 2, and it will be taken directly to precincts and its final testing will be on May 3.

PLT Consuelo also added that PNP is also actively coordinating with the Armed Forces of the Philippines for the security of the said municipality in this upcoming election.

Meanwhile, the deputy officer also describes the municipality as ‘generally peaceful’ since the campaign period started, and implementation of election gun ban in the said area.
