The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of LGU Daet reminds about the importance of intended beach flags on the seashore for beach goers’ safety.
According to MDRRMO, each color of the flag indicates protection for everyone.
The red flag indicates danger, which means swimming is highly prohibited in that particular area of the beach.
White checkered flags are for the surfers, while the yellow flags are the safe areas where beach goers can freely swim and also in lifeguarded areas.
These reminders are available in different area in Bagasbas Beach that aims to protect the locals and tourists in the area.
