PSA PREPARES FOR LAUNCHING OF PRINTABLE NATIONAL ID NEXT MONTH

Because of the long overdue release of the Philippine National ID, the Philippines Statistic Authority (PSA) is now preparing for the launching of the printable national ID next month for temporary use.

According to Camarines Norte PSA Chief Statistical Specialist Maria Dulce Padayao, next week, there will be a 2-day training for the personnel who will execute the launching of the printable IDs.

This is PSA’s response to numerous complaints of individuals who have already registered in PhilSys for several months but still haven’t received their physical IDs.

To avail printable ID, the applicant needs to check the availability using the transaction number and set an appointment in the nearest PhilSys Registration Center for printing through an online appointment.

PSA will announce further details with regards to the appointment system when it’s already available before the end of September.

Based on PSA’s recent data, 61,722 CamNorteños already received their IDs through delivery, from the 62,500 or 99% IDs received by the Philippine Postal Corporation or Philpost.
